Drosera intermedia - Bare-root

Drosera intermedia is a common species of sundew that makes a wonderful beginner plant due to its ease of care. It can take freezing temps but does not require any sort of dormancy to thrive long-term.

These are shipped bare-root to ensure safe travel. Upon arrival, we recommend planting in 50/50 peat moss and perlite/sand.

Sundews (Drosera) are a type of sticky-trap carnivorous plant that catch its prey using a glue-like dew on the leaves, which captures small insects before dissolving or "eating" them. Like any bog plant, they should be kept sitting in water and require bright sunlight (2+ hours full sun), so outdoors OR a bright windowsill.
