Nepenthes ((veitchi x mira) x venosa '#2') - 2" Pot (intermediate hybrid)

This is an outstanding new tropical pitcher plant (Nepenthes) hybrid created by the one and only, Jeremiah Harris. Since it combines lowland and extreme highland species, it can be grown in low-intermediate temps, with ours growing in consistent 85 F temps during the day. In the words of Jeremiah:

This complex triple-species cross combines the vigorous lowland Bornean genetics of veitchii, the rare highland Philippine character of mira, and the ultra-alpine constitution of villosa—a botanical puzzle that will test collectors' skill while producing unprecedented pitcher morphology from the collision of lowland, intermediate, and extreme-altitude parents.

Each picture shows the parents used to make the cross (pod parent (“mom”) on the left/top and pollen parent (“dad”) on the right/bottom. The flowers will combine various traits of each parent, each creating its own, unique piece of art! Any standalone pictures show some of the plants that have already bloomed and therefore represent what the hybrid might look like.
