Lc. Trick or Treat 'Orange Magic' AM/AOS x Epi. stamfordianum 'Pink' - 2.5" Pot

This is a remake of the 22-year old hybrid. Eplc. Volcano Trick. How cool! The original hybrid frequently bloomed with bundles of contrasting yellow and red-spotted/splotched flowers. Lc. Trick or Treat 'Orange Magic' AM/AOS also has bundles of flowers but in a pure, bright orange. Epi. stamfordianum 'Pink' has more pink in the lip than the typical species. Will this remake result in something similar, or will it create an even brighter, more colorful variation? Only time will tell!

Each picture shows the parents used to make the cross (pod parent (“mom”) on the left/top and pollen parent (“dad”) on the right/bottom. The flowers will combine various traits of each parent, each creating its own, unique piece of art! Any standalone pictures show some of the plants that have already bloomed and therefore represent what the hybrid might look like.

Thank you to Fred Clarke (Sunset Valley Orchids) for allowing me to use these pictures.
