L. tenebrosa 'Mott's Select' x C. Triumphans 'Matts' - 2.5" Pot

I am beyond excited for this new SVO cross. L. tenebrosa is a large-growing plant with huge, orange and purple flowers. C. Triumphans is an exceptional hybrid that grows smaller but still have large, extremely eye-catching, colorful flowers. This hybrid should stay smaller (~14" in bloom) with amazing, large, brilliantly-colored flowers.

Each picture shows the parents used to make the cross (pod parent (“mom”) on the left/top and pollen parent (“dad”) on the right/bottom. The flowers will combine various traits of each parent, each creating its own, unique piece of art! Any standalone pictures show some of the plants that have already bloomed and therefore represent what the hybrid might look like.

Thank you to Fred Clarke (Sunset Valley Orchids) for allowing me to use these pictures.
