Habenaria Soil (8 cups/ 1.9 L)

This is it! We FINALLY decided to offer our soil mix that we use for Habenaria, Pecteilis, Pectabenaria, and Cynorkis. This mix was designed specifically for Habenaria by Nick Rust over years of small tweaks to make the best mix. It has the proper drainage needed but retains enough moisture to stay damp but never wet, exactly what Habenaria need. It's also packed with nutrients to help boost the plant's growth as they're just starting to emerge from their winter slumber.

NOTE: This media stays damp for a long time, meaning it reduces the water demand of these plants significantly. That said, we water every 7-10 days. If you want to water more frequently, we suggest adding more perlite or orchid bark to this mix so that it dries out more quickly, thus reducing the risk of rot from overwatering.
