       Hab. crinifera is a wonderful, uncommon, compact species in cultivation. It is a completely different "flavor" for Habenaria with its flat, delicate, white flowers that pop open at the end of a long, thin spike. It is also a great beginner species, as it can withstand a slightly damp OR completely dry dormancy.
