Catasetum pileatum alone is an outstanding species with very large (3+ inches wide) flowers on dense inflorescences. Looking at a cross like this that uses two extraordinary parents, these are bound to be some of the nicest representations of this species to date. I expect most of these will be green to light-green with some blooming white.

Securely packaged in several layers, healthy orchid arrived healthy(and sooner than expected). Growing pbulb, and previous growth, is about 1” tall.

New orchid type for me. I’m excited.

I have been growing Phaelonopsis Orchids for a number of years with great success. I saw this new one and decided I had to have it. It was shipped quickly and was well packaged. Not knowing anything about growing this type, I reached out to the owner and he sent some instructions for caring and feeding and other important tips.
