Now for something completely different! This should be a larger-growing Catasetum with a tall, upright inflorescence and bizarre, non-resupinate (inverted) flowers that carry a strong, delightful fragrance.
Each picture shows the parents used to make the cross (pod parent (“mom”) on the left/top and pollen parent (“dad”) on the right/bottom. The flowers will combine various traits of each parent, each creating its own, unique piece of art! Any standalone pictures show some of the plants that have already bloomed and therefore represent what the hybrid might look like.
