Anthurium ('Silver Blush' x "Red Vein Dark Phoenix" (spontaneous)) - 2" Pot

Anth. 'Silver Blush' has a round leaf with and an overlapping sinus and bleeding venation. Anth. "Red Vein Dark Phoenix" (spontaneous) has dark, velvety leaves with red veins and a red back. We are hoping for dark, round leaves with red and silver all on the same leaf.

The first and second leaf picture show the parents while the remaining pictures show some examples of the seedlings for sale.

We sell Anthurium seedlings a little bit differently... We randomly select trays to keep before we can see any prominent features that would lead to selecting "hold backs." Everything else goes up for sale, and once plants have been put into the sales sections, they stay there until they're sold. What does that mean? Even if a plant in the sales section ends up displaying extraordinary features, we will still keep it there for someone else to purchase and cherish. Part of the fun of hybridizing and growing plants is to play the genetic gamble, and this is our way of allowing others to play, too!
