Amorphophallus titanum SEED (Giant Corpse Flower)

Now this is something that we are beyond excited to offer! Am. titanum is difficult enough to find for sale, let alone legitimate seeds. The giant corpse flower is the largest of nearly 200 species of Amorphophallus, with a leaf that can grow to 20 feet tall and an inflorescence  (floral structure) that breaks 8 feet. It is a must-have for any plant enthusiast and a solid "future-me-problem" in terms of how large this species can get. Ironically, it makes a wonderful house plant for anyone with bright windows and tall ceilings (just maybe don't keep it inside if it blooms).

Seeds are easy to grow but do need some special attention. Keep the seeds in the sealed plastic bag with damp sphagnum until they germinate and start producing roots. After that, plant it shallowly in a well-draining soil mix and keep it damp. They will frequently send up new leaves over the first 1-2 years and should go dormant after 2+ years.

Not only do we have a small batch we're releasing, but we are proud to say that these seeds were sustainably sourced. Grown on private land, hand-pollinated, and harvested specifically for the plant hobby.
