Malaxis ophrydis (aff. latifolia) - Blooming size Jewel Orchid

Malaxis ophrydis is an interesting species of "painted-leaf" orchid with torches of small, purple flowers. It is deciduous but extremely easy to grow, as you can keep them either damp or dry during dormancy without any issues. They benefit from low-medium light (similar to Phalaenopsis) and bloom from the new growth each year.
