Habenaria Trishula (Pink Butterfly x dentata)

This might be the first time a Hab. dentata hybrid has ever been for sale in the USA (or in general)! I couldn’t believe when I got seeds from this cross and was even more shocked when those seeds proved somewhat fertile (less than 20 seedlings from the entire pod). Nonetheless, I grew them all out to see what the blooms looked like and was astounded by the light pink color and very unique shape! I have created, worked with, and seen some Hab. dentata hybrids that are just disappointing because they look almost exactly like pure Hab. dentata (even when using that plant as the pollen parent) so was beyond excited that this one had a decent mix of both parents! I have not remade this cross and don’t really plan to, so this might be one of the only times to get this outstanding cross.
